We have been growing organic vegetables here at Flights Orchard Farm for 30 years. It comprises 30 acres of beautiful red Herefordshire soil. The largest farm enterprise by far is organic field vegetable production. We also have 25 sheep. The philosophy of our farm is to grow organic produce in as environmentally friendly way as possible without chemical input and sell it as locally as possible. The crops grown are wide ranging and include potatoes, carrots, cauliflowers, courgettes, beetroot, squashes, strawberries and many more. The sheep are Wiltshire crosses and Shropshires and are very good mowing machines in the orchard, they also graze the clover leys. Other animals on the farm include two horses, ducks, geese, chickens and of course Bess the sheepdog!
